Hi Hans and all,
have there been any updates to the QLG2 firmware since 2021? I see the manual says the date should be displayed on the optional add-on display but I don’t see this. Also Hans, if you do do an update, can you add the 1PPS heartbeat symbol as well.

I built a QLG2 GPS with the display a few months ago. Mine displays the time, and GPS data like fixed, #of satellites, #being tracked and the SNR. With a 4 line display using the clock, it can display just about anything you desire including the 1pps. It also sets the clock on my various QCX's in under 30 seconds. Have you adjusted the contrast?

• Can optionally be connected to a standard 1602 LCD, in the same style as the Ultimate3S, VFO and Clock kits, to GPS date, time and satellite information using onboard microcontroller.?

See, says DATE. I am running this stand alone. Was hoping it had this feature by now.
