Hi all,

just? got the UB4,

everything is working good except that the GPS is tot receiving anything (of cores no locking).

i tried a dipole antenna, and 3 different GPS active? Ant ( with a 47 uA? chock connected to pin 14 of the GPS to the GPS Ant but its

not getting anyhing.

can someone give me an advice please ?

Hi Daniel
I would suggest? you run the U4B transmit program first for 30 minutes info in the manual? and then do the hardware test ...?
I would also suggest you put a 50 ohm resistor over the hf antenna pads while testing.
In some cases the hardware test is difficult to lock and it is aided by using a bit of tinfoil under a piece of paper? with the U4B on top of the paper so the gps antenna could work more effectively inside the house.. just use a simple dipole antenna for the gps with legs about 47mm and in a vee shape.

The only issue? left, is? although the GPS locks? when i run? the program? and? transmit on time etc,? ?The hardware test? will not work? and when i do? "q + r"? there is? nothing? there .

running? the? program? again? -? it locks? again.? (even? with a dipole? near? the window.? ?(i just? disconnected from the? main? computer and? connected? it? to? a laptop? which? give? probably? less noise? to? the? GPS.

probably? like you? said? the hardware test? need more? "power"? ?from? the satellites.

i will need to take it? outside to check..
