Re: QMX+ RF output fluctuates wildly

Hi Andy
I don't think that is the cause; the chipped ferrite is very common and
doesn't normally cause functional issues.

New Chat: Second order
#chat-notice
A new chat has been created:
Is it possible while my order is not shipped (assembled QMX+): to order dummy load and no to pay for delivering it with QMX+ together?

I believe I found it.? L501 is missing a corner and coils are exposed.? I was so focused on solder joints I didn't see it until I got an oscilloscope involved and I was tracing the pwm signal.

Re: SWR and PWR does not show lcd
Bottom line right of digi sign is swr, since it is? coars and your 1.2 swr is low enough probably it does not show enough to fill the part of square. You can attach a 80-90ohm resistor on output and

What about your "Update interval" and "TX->RX hang time" settings, what are
those?

Re: Pulse modulation on QLG2 / progrock output frequencies
Dave,
All I can say is that it is an old problem I did not solve.
I ended up by using a GPS/OCXO/PLL/multiplier reference.
I have not tried actually checking the basic Progrock in use, maybe the

Re: QMX+ Firmware laden
Hi Volkert,
For Win7 you need to install the serial port driver from here: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32102.html
As you saw on your Win10 machine that the QMX was recognised and

Re: QMX+ Firmware laden

Re: beta 1_01_003 FW strange behaviors
I came across the same problems with USB/LSB and SWR jumping. But In my case SWR protection works. Which causes problems from time to time.

Re: PA mod for QMX+
And as you can obviously see, I added a couple small heat sinks using a thin coat of contact cement to hopefully add a bit more metal mass. Just make sure they do not touch.

And leaving it set to share 15/17 rather than 20/17 will also work fine - the

Pulse modulation on QLG2 / progrock output frequencies
I am using a GPS QLG2 to supply 1 second pulses to a progrock, the progrock is generating 27Mhz for a AD4351 DDS and 24Mhz for a receive function. On both the signals generated there is a "blip" when
