Hi Willie: For the uncorrected pressure I'm also getting zeros, so this seems to be a communication issue. In looking over what Adafruit offers, I noticed that their module using the MPRLS sensor, has

Hi, In the QCX+ Manual110.pdf, please see the pages 99 to 101. Some ways to do the connection of the GPS to the QCX+ are mentioned. 73 Bojan S53DZ

Re: Sharing QDX repair experience
Hi, I would say the procedure for the blown MOSFET is the same for a short circuit as it is for an open circuit fault. Since they are coupled in parallel it is impossible to tell in-circuit. So,

Re: QCX-mini LCD Back-light - spurious voltage
OK so it would appear R100 (130k ohm) was OC. Have briged pin 15 to Q100 with a 150kOhm (it's all I had) and back light is shining bright. Proper 5v on pin15 and 0v on pin 16. All the? way its mean

Re: QCX-mini LCD Back-light - spurious voltage
Hi Sam. I think your idea of faulty Q100 could be correct. To make sure first, though, please measure the voltage on the gate of Q100 while switching the backlight mode on and off in the menu. You

Yes. Using a balun seems to get rid of a lot of noise in many circumstances, as well as solving rf in the shack type issues that make rigs to odd things. Deffo worth using a balun. -- - 73 de Andy -
