Re: OK to use Elecraft T1 with QCX-mini?
The QRP Guys power/dummy load/SWR bridge device works well and I just used it to test my Classic QCX that I just completed. Excellent device. Dave K8WPE David J. Wilcox¡¯s iPad

Re: QCX mini constant tone #qcxmini
Thanks, Theo, for bringing this issue up again.? In February Hans acknowledged the matter and was going to look into it as soon as things settled down.? I've not seen or found any resolution as yet.

Re: QDX Surface Mount inductors
In Rev 2, I used through-hole inductors for those 4 and deleted the SMDs. So the SMDs don't need to be removed. Just install the wire-ended ones. Given the high demand for QDX I don't want to go

Re: QDX Surface Mount inductors
Hans, Boa, you have still 3000 SMD inductors on stock... :o) For the Rev 2 boards, do you plan to use the same SMD inductors ? And during assembly they have to be removed and replaced by the extra

QDX - rig control error
I use a Raspberry Pi4 to run WSJT-X 2.5.0 with an IC-7300 and it¡¯s fine. So I transferred the USB cable to the QDX and set up a new configuration for QDX exactly as described by Hans in the manual.

Re: QDX has no power out #qdx
Matthias, When testing the PA I suggest powering the QDX with as low a voltage as possible, 7 volts or less, I'm not sure of the absolute minimum. Possibly as low as 5.5 volts, The regulators are

Hello Andrew You asked: "Hans, what was the original manufacture part number of the inductors you were using?" I am attaching to this post, a photograph of the SMD reel label. So that should answer

On the TX signal, 5V tolerant I/Os and Pull-up resistors
Hi Fred The 5V tolerant IO and the pull-up resistors to +5V are all a red herring. According to the BS170 datasheet, the device has a gate threshold voltage of typically 2.1V but it could be as low as

Hi all *General:* Please be patient... this is a new rig, and we have yet to accumulate collective trouble-shooting experience. I have just had a nice QSO with Earl 4Z4TJ on JS8Call, 5W QDX at both

Re: Elecraft KXUSB with QCX Mini
Rich and the group, the KXUSB is a FTDI device which may be field reprogrammed to "invert" signals. In this case both RxD and TxD are inverted. This is how they may do a direct connection from USB to
