Oh ! Thank you. I thought we were just being short-changed on the 73¡¯s for some reason. ;-) S. Sent from an electronic device.

Regarding QCX-series rigs, anyone out there bypassing the ATmega328P and directly freq-programming the SI5351A_MSOP ( SPI-style ) ?
Just wondering...? This now reminds me of the progression that occurred with my freq-control apps ( see attached ) for the Small Wonder Labs DSW-II-series rigs back around the turn of the millennium.

Get down ! QCX-17 just made its first CW Q on 30m !
Thanks to John, KM0I in Mississippi for my first 30m CW QSO using the QCX-17 to the downspout, freq-controlled by the app, My_encoder_de_N4QA. OK, think I'll stop while I'm ahead... 72 / 73, Bill,

Re: QSX - antenna work in the rain
Hi, As promised... I got a fishing pole and weight and put the fishing line over the top of the oak tree outside my radio room. I used it to pull up around about 130 feet of paracord. And - as

Re: QCX 40 Woes
The original QCX used 10uF capacitors. Someone in an earlier thread showed that these were the cause of key clicks (to be correct, they were passing the clicks caused by the offset on the sidetone

Re: QCX 40 Woes
On the earlier kits, 0.1 uF works fine. On the Rev 4, it needs to be higher. If you use 0.1 uF on a rev 4 board you will get very little audio. Just my 2? and experience with it. 72, Charles - NK8O

Re: QCX 40 Woes
PCB revision 4 on Hans' QRP Labs page states that they have been replaces with 1 uf ceramic.... you have gone with .1 uf ceramic. Any real difference?... I have not done this YET... but I did point

Re: QCX 40 Woes
Mike, The first question is what revision of the board do you have? If it is 1-3 you need to replace the electrolytics C21 & C22 with 0.1 uF ceramic caps. That has worked on 5 radios I have built 72,

Re: Qrp-labs and a Huff and Puff circuit board
Hans, Probably not. This sort of thing does have to be adjusted and interfaced to a particular radio. I could not build a stable VFO so used one of the PA0KSB design in a converted Decca Voyager,

Hi Rob Just looked at the Bamatech case and it looks like there is loads of room around the headphone connector, so guess that's not the problem, coincidentally the case is almost the same as the one

Rob, Seems obvious, although not obvious. Must be a bad connection, solder joint, fragment of wire/solder, something shorting together or on the metal? case.. 73 Alan G4ZFQ
