Re: Stuck in Grace-Hollogne :-(((

Hi Riden,

The news reports highlighting the problems where there are too few truck drivers is nationwide, as many have retired or left the business during the pandemic due to pre-vaccines infection risks, for starters.? Other problems are union-only trucker rules in some cities, and lockdowns in metro area intermodal transshipment/distribution facilities.? As few as 25% of facilities¡¯ employees have been allowed back to work, so trucks sit for upwards of a week without drivers being paid while waiting for someone to unload them.

The pandemic has become a prolific source of non-excuses for nothing getting done.? It¡¯s almost as if a massive conspiracy of people here beholden to Communist Chinese masters are doing their bidding to destroy our economy.? The facts being hidden by a compliant propaganda arm ¡ I mean media outlets here ¡ are making it that much easier and faster.

For some reason, packages from QRPLabs shipped from Sedalia, MO to me in the Chicagoland area take much longer to arrive. I get lots of packages via USPS from all over the county and I get most is 2-4 days.

Last December, the total time from the shipment of a QCX-Mini to arrival at my home was 27 days, but that was during the Christmas package overload.? This time, it was one week from shipping to receipt. In transit time was six days.

It's not Hans' shipping partner. I get their shipping confirmation and the tracking shows their post office received the package. The next day it has left the post office and is "in transit" where is remains until it shows up at my door. It isn't our local regional center either. Only with this path. Go figure.

I'm not complaining, but wondering what it is about this particular path that takes so long.
