Good morning fellows,
It just occurred to me that QMN will have been in operation for 90 years (with the exception of the war years in the 1940¡¯s) in 2025. What a milestone¡¡
I am looking forward to some sort of a celebration, either on the air or in person or both and would like to see something to honor and celebrate the net¡¯s trailbreaking dedication to duty.
I have already secured the location for the 2025 picnic in Coldwater and perhaps that might play into our plans for celebration. ?We might also contact Jim Wades, WB8SIW to get his thoughts on such an idea for celebrating 90 years.
Food for thought: How about a special net call up for 2025 that calls attention to our loyalty and dedication to the American Public? Perhaps using QMN 90 in the net call up?
I am not necessarily volunteering to head up such program as my mission here is to throw some flammable fodder on the embers of our net.
