The QCWA related Net spreadsheet has been attached.? The list shows that Carl Solomon had 14?attendees this morning on November 10^th. ?Since his location in far western Oklahoma and his fine antenna system and strong transmitters and receivers assure that he is able to hear everyone and all of the attendees can hear him.? I really appreciate his thoughtfulness in taking my place as the net controller since I really do not have any way to put out up to 1000 watts I as I have for years using my Icom PW1 Amplifier.

Having said above I am hereby telling you that I intend to no longer work as one of the net controllers.? By the time I eliminated all of the power output many people could only barely hear me but most of them could not hear me at all.

The normal Sunday QCWA41 7:00 AM net caller sequence is Carl Solomon followed by Jim Popelarski followed by Mason Sarles but not followed by me.? If I were making a decision about my replacement I would suggest that Jerry Sams, H5KNU, who lives in Edmond Oklahoma would do a good job and could probably be heard by almost everyone.? I believe Mason would be willing to assist Jerry if he needed some help with some of the distant stations.

I have asked Jay Urish, W5GM, to post the each Sundays Attendance Report on the QCWA41 net so that I do not have to send it out to all of our individual attendees.? I will continue to maintain the Attendance report for the foreseeable future as I have done for quite a few of the last years.? It will always be published in the Bullzip PDF Printer mode.

Please look at the QCWA Net List Attendee Count I attached above and you will see that we have a number of users that have not checked in for quite some time.? I believe we should make an effort to contact these users and see if they intend to begin checking in on a regular basis.? If they do not we should let them know that they will be eliminated from our list of current users.? Each of the QCWA41 Sunday net callers should make this announcement every week as soon as you start the net.
