The last Radios @ Home event for the 2024 summer season is this coming Saturday, September 21st, from 10:00 to at least 12:00. We use a frequency of 146.460 with a PL tone of 77.0Hz and operate off-grid to test our abilities to stay radio-active even under less than optimum conditions. And it's just plain fun to talk station to station and antenna to antenna! So remember to join us on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00 hours on 146.460 and give a shout for "anyone participating in Radios @ Home". Good Day, Folks - QCECG needs 15 ham communicator volunteers to support Founders' Day 2024. Members, and any currently licensed amateur radio operator with an interest in Emcomm and community service, is welcome to volunteer. The date is Saturday, September 21st. The venue is not large and the perfect opportunity for any ham willing to test the community service waters.
