Here’s what you’ll need to know about this update: What You’ll Get A fresh Page design A new layout makes it easier to manage your Page. More ways to be social Follow others from your Page’s News Feed to share, like and comment on their updates as your Page. Simplified, actionable insights Learn more about your audience, including age range and location, and quickly see your top performing content. What Stays the Same Content and Information Your existing posts, Page information and other details won't change. Ads and Campaigns You can still create ads and manage ad campaigns. Existing ads won't be affected by any changes you make to your Page. What’s Changing In addition to to more easily connecting and engaging with your community, the following are also changing: Page Follows and likes Your updated Page will display your followers and a follow button in place of Page likes and a like button. You currently have 1.1K Followers. learn more Follows are a stronger indicator of the number of people who would like to see your Page’s posts in their feed. When people liked your classic Page, they also automatically “followed” you, which allowed them to see your posts in News Feed. People who liked the Page could also choose to unfollow the Page and not see its posts in their News Feed. Using followers is a better signal. Updates to Page roles Existing admins will have full control and existing editors can be given partial control of this Page on Facebook. Any actions you take as this Page, including when you check into a location, may be visible to anyone else who manages it. Other roles (such as advertisers, analysts and moderators) will not be able to manage the Page directly on Facebook, but will still be able to manage the Page using other tools from Facebook like Creator Studio and Ads Manager. learn more New content only shows on the updated Page If you temporarily switch back to classic Pages, the content you created on the new Pages experience will not be visible on classic Pages.
