The Fiji School of Medicine [FSM] comprises an enthusiastic group of professionals who are jointly responsible for coordinating undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Medical Laboratory Technology, Environmental Health and Nutrition & Dietetics. Currently there are over 650 students enrolled in the FSM from approximately 20 different countries. As such, the FSM is the major health-related training institution serving the Pacific Island countries and territories.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified health professionals to fill the above position at the Fiji School of Medicine, Suva.

The successful applicant will have a primary degree in a relevant field plus a minimum of a postgraduate diploma in the specific field, preferably a masters degree or higher. In addition the candidate will have at least five to ten years experience in the teaching and practice of the subject including curriculum development and programme evaluation experience. The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate significant research activity and output.

The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team and will participate in the development and teaching of programmes in their respective areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The position will be located in the School of Public Health & Primary Care at the Tamavua campus of FSM in central Suva.
