Re: Timing belt adjustments for Pete and Joe
Joe- It'd be great if you can make the trip. The meetup will be hosted by Keith M. in Battleground, WA. What year 928 do you have? I know there are subtle differences in what needs to be removed to make room to measure the timing belt tension. It depends alot on the year of 928. Pete- What year is your 928? Re: Pete's hood alignment
Pete- I'd be happy to help with your hood alignment. Pacnw928guys- Let me/us know if you need help with any projects. If they're small, I'm happy to help with them at the BBQ. If they're bigger, perhaps I can help soon if you can make the trip down to Portland, or if we have another meetup in the fall. Keith M- Wine choice?
Keith M- For sure, it would be great to have PorKen there. So it looks like this thing is really gonna happen. I think it may be time for me to order some wine! Do you like red wine, or is there something else you prefer? Maybe some beer or spirits? If you do like red wine, feel free to choose from one of the wines in the screenshots. (Tom has already claimed the Argentina Cabernet #7). I can bring whatever bottle you choose, the Argentina Cab for Tom928, and a few more bottles for the rest of us to drink at the BBQ. Let me know. Re: PorKen around anymore?
Michael B- That's great PorKen is still at it. The guy is a 928 legend. If you can persuade him to make the trip, that would be awesome! Hey there Peter (is that your first name, or is it Scott? I couldn't tell from your email address). It would be great if you could make the trip from Bremerton to join us. I can't see why we wouldn't have time to adjust your timing belt as well. It's not too big a job. Looking forward to meeting you if you can make it! Re: pacnw928 BBQ??
Keith- Tom M's suggestion to create a new thread is a good one. Some people who haven't checked in for awhile may see it and want to join us. The use of a group texting or emailing is a helpful though because once everyone checks in via email, you'd only have to send directions once. Re: pacnw928 BBQ??
And more:
Add whether you have a BBQ there?? Let them know what you will have there wrt food items. Folks that are interested should post up what they are bringing so you don't end up with 14 bags of buns and no burgers LOL.... or in this case 20 bottles of wine :D Suggest working on the car before drinking the wine. Sure to have better results :D Tom |
