SMITH - WERNER - DREIBELBIS Family Photographs

I've recovered two old photographs belonging to the SMITH and WERNER Families of Berks County, PA. The first photograph is identified as the Birthplace of Mabel Susan SMITH WERNER near Dreibelbis Bridge, Berks Co., PA. It is also identified as the Francis SMITH Homestead and appears to be a series of barns with cows in the fenced area in front.? The second photograph is also identified as the Birthplace of Mabel Susan SMITH and Francis D. SMITH Homestead and is dated 6 Dec 1910. This photograph includes a young girl sitting atop what appears to be a large doghouse or shed of some kind in front of what appears to be two large homes. I believe that both Mabel and Francis are children of David Zachariah SMITH and his wife Susan F. DREIBELBIS.? Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding this family:

?

Mabel Susan SMITH was b. 6 Dec 1910 in Greenwich Township or Windsor Township, Berks Co., PA to parents David Zachariah SMITH (1875-1914) and Susanna ¡°Susan¡± F. DREIBELBIS (1873-1941) who were married in 1894.? Mabel was one of 5 children born to this couple including Mary Elizabeth; Hettie Sarah; David Francis; Kate F.; and Mabel Susan SMITH all born between 1895 and 1911.? Mabel married twice, first to Benjamin HONEYFORD (b. 1890) on 10 July 1942 in Alexandria, VA and second to J. Stanley WERNER (1898-1962) and she died in 1998 and is buried in the Mount Zion Cemetery in North Coventry Township, Chester Co., PA.

?

Francis David SMITH was b. 5 Mar 1900 in Pennsylvania to the same parents and married Grace H. ADAM (1904-1990) and they had 5 children including Dorothy May; Earl Leroy; Francis Lee; Robert Carl; and John David SMITH, all born between 1923 and 1942.? Francis died 9 Dec 1974.

?

I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to the care of family.? If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,

Shelley
