I have in my family trees -

Daniel FAUST b. Sept 1793 Berks Co. ,d. Oct 1864 Berks Co.PA. and his wife ,Lidia SCHUMACHER b. 1796 in PA. d. 1840 Berks Co.
They had 2 known children , sons , Daniel Jr. 1816 - 1837 and Charles FAUST 1819 - 1895. Lidia was my 1st Cousin 5x removed.

Lidia nee SCHUMACHER FAUST was the daughter of Heinrich "Henry" SCHUMACHER b. 1773 in PA d. 1822 in Berks Co. and Frederica nee JUMBER or JUMPER b. March 1776 PA. d.Nov 1849 in Berks Co. Heinrich SCHUMACHER was my 4th Great Granduncle.

Heinrich " Henry " SCHUMACHER was the son of Johannes Jurg " John George " SCHUMACHER b. 1731 in Germany d.1801 Weisenberg Twp. Northampton Co . now Lehigh Co. PA. and
Susanna Elisabeth nee WEISS b. 1734-1740 PA. d. 1802 in Northampton Co. PA - John George & Susanna were my 5th Great Grandparents.

I have a Faust family that I have been researching, connected to Hain's Church and members.? Magdalena Faust, a daughter of Johann Peter Faust (1679 Germany-1770 Berks) and his wife Anna Maria Greathouse (many say Hain, but she is named as Peter's wife in? Henry Greathouse's will) d 1803, had a daughter Magdalena who married Christian Deal/Diehl/etc at Hain's Church in 1767.? My research lacks adequate proofs, but Johan Peter appears to be the son of Johann Philip Daniel Faust b 1679 Langenselbold? Germany d 1770 there.? His wife Elizabeth L Rock per Ancestry.? Their children were, besides, Peter, Magdalena Elizabeth,? Johann George,? Maria Kunigunda,? Michael, Johan, Elizabeth, Philip, and Anthony.? Perhaps a middle or common name Daniel lurks among them.? I have very few proofs, and it's all murky yet, but I match DNA with a number of Greathouse and Faust descendants.
The Deal/Dale family moved on to Cumberland Co where Christian died.? Magdalena may have preceded him, unless Martha was her common name.? ?I would search the Hain's Church records of baptisms and marriages for sponsors, etc.

Thank you for your reply - I have a couple of records for Daniel Faust.
One is his baptism record from the Rosenthal New Bethel Church in Albany Township, Berks County, PA.
His Parents - Sebastian & Anna Elisabeth nee Ritter Faust; dated - 24 November 1793.
I've looked at the Hain's Church list of Faust's ; I need to do a deeper dive to root out the rest from Albany Township before looking more closely the one's
listed at Hain's.

My Direct Bloodline runs thru Lidia Schumacher's family - I've been lucky enough to pick up a few living cousins thru that line - thanks to my DNA tests too <3

My surnames are:

Marianne,? A quick search on MyHeritage suggests these may be generations of the same family, but I am getting cross-eyed looking at repeats of the same given names.? If there is a conection, I would guess the older Fausts came from Albany Twp and some spread out to Hain's.? Sharon

I agree that the FAUSTS seen in the Hain's Church records could very well be related to the Albany Township FAUSTS . All the Hans and Johannes make me dizzy too !

That's OK Sharon - No need to apologize - It's really Spring here and time is getting spent more outside instead of inside !
My SCHUMACHER surname has morphed a few times over the past 200+ years leading up to SHUMACHER , SHUMAKER and SHOEMAKER
surname spellings showing up within the same individual family lines .And let's not forget about the Heinrichs who changed to Henrys and the Johannes who changed to Johns and the many who simply went by their middle names !
