Hi, I'm Rod. I enjoy trying to "catch" P-3's on the scanner. I'm a "technical" type and am
fasinated by all the comm and electronic gear on the P-3's. My main interest is with the USN and
US Customs P-3's doing drug interdiction work. I love it when the "bad guys" get what's coming to
them.

I live in the Metro Atlanta, Ga area and get a chance to hear them in and out of Dobbins ARB and
the 2 local Lockheed facilities in the area. Hoping to hear some of the Dutch P-3's while they are
in maintenance at Greenville, SC, for upgrades.

I'm Norm. I'm not a Tech type but have managed to surround myself with those "type". There is a lot of comm and electonics gear on the Orion. I had the Privilege of getting a personal tour on board one of the Aurora's that was on dispay at the Syracuse (N.Y) Air show recently. Canadian outfit. I believe the customs folk shave a P-3 with a Roto Dome which is just awesome. I've seen it somewhere, on Television, only briefly. Hope your geet to hear those turbo's on the Dutch job.
