Group is moving to Groups.io !

I have never been thrilled with Yahoo Groups interface, and several other things about it. Recently I moved another of my groups to Groups.io. I am thrilled with the interface, features, options and the fast speed! The transfer was seamless and completed within a few days.

I began the process of transferring this group to Groups.io as well. The new group there is called P-3Orion, but you don't have to do anything. Within a few days you will receive an email welcoming you to the new group; simply follow the directions contained within that email. All messages, files and pics transfer over as well, so except for a little burp, we can all go on as we previously have. Once the transfer is complete and everyone is happy, I'll double-check that everything was actually transferred, then eventually close this group. I'll give it plenty of time though.

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks,
Guy

What interface problems? I send an e-mail, I receive an e-mail. That's pretty simple with any e-mail programme I've ever used.

I own multiple groups, but I don't need to go to the YahooGroups website more than an average of once a week and even then it's usually for my own reasons and not for group management tasks. Either way, I can easily do what I need to do there and I have no problems with the interface.

Jeff,

I understand what you're saying and I appreciate the comment. Since you are satisfied with Yahoo's email interface, I am very confident that you will also be happy with Groups.io's email interface. It works the same, only much faster and with no ads. No ads on the web pages either! The web interface is much cleaner, faster and more intuitive than Yahoo's too. Since you haven't yet experienced the Groups.io interface, I encourage you to take a look around the P-3 Orion site on Groups.io (when it finishes transferring) and take a test drive.

Since Yahoo apparently won't be supporting/upgrading the groups pages, this is a logical move to make for this group (and also why hundreds of other groups are moving to other platforms). Thank you all for understanding and giving the new site a chance.
