I totally understand the lure (pun here?) about fishing. ?When my son was about 10 (34 years ago), he and I caught it ?big, went all the time, and even got a small boat to use in the estuary by the Oakland airport. ?On work days I’d go to Lake Chabot near our home and get in an hour and a half before going to work. ?When my son got older and discovered girls, I lost my fishing partner and my interest. ?But I always felt that the fish we caught tasted better than what was sold in the market. ? ? ? ?Gary F.

We like the community. It’s quite a change after living in California for all those years, but our neighbors are friendly and we are making headway. Does anyone else live in Washington?
