Thanks for the update ¡ª and that paint job sounds horrific. When we remodeled, I spent weeks removing gaudy layers of avocado green and ghastly blue paint from our Douglas fir built-ins, door frames and door (we still haven¡¯t done the hallway door). I had thought I would need to repaint the cabinets, but the wood was beautiful so we just stained it.
This housing market is so heated, if enough of us take photos and post them, a buyer will emerge and the agent can refrain from undertaking an unnecessary vandalism. (You might tell I¡¯m still scarred from all scraping off ugly paint!)
