A teacher has emailed me asking about:

my Grade 5-6 students will be exploring and inquiring about the
intricacies of the universe and matter. ... I am actively seeking
engaging learning opportunities for them beyond the classroom.
I was wondering if your group would be hosting events, lessons or
other educational initiatives that my students could partake in to
further enrich and expand their exploration of space. For instance,
would they be able to attend a gathering, or would someone be
interested in coming to teach them about astronomy? It would be a
group of 10 students, myself, mostly likely another teacher.

I've put her in touch with the Ottawa RASC, which in the past, has
presented to kids. I've also directed her to the Carp star party page.
But if there are OAFs with the prepared material and skill to present
to kids, let me know and I will put you in contact with the teacher.
