Any gluttons for sidewalk in Kanata tonite?

Anyone for one more sidewalk session in Kanata before the planets get
too low to show? When's the last time we had four clear evenings in a
row, anyway? Perhaps we might even wish to make it a "dinner and
sidewalk" session (6:30pm dinner)? Anyway, let Janice and I know if
there's any interest in this idea at all, and we could make it a plan.

All for now,
Roland

If it's clear, I'm up for it. But cloud forecast for 20:00 tonight
is not good:

We could have dinner in Kanata somewhere and decide after dinner.

"Bon. And the usual brown ales?

Yeah... No, wait a minute, I think I can only manage six crates today"

Unfortunatly the weather is not hopeful. I think I'll pass tonight unless we can get a more optimistic forecast later.

That sounds like a plan, Attilla. 6:30pm? Janice and I know nothing
at all of restaurants in Kanata, so we are at your mercy. It would be
nice if it were near Chapters, and also, where we could get in with
our pre-observing sidewalk astronomer's attire. Pick anything - we'll
probably like it. Any others takers?

The scope's already in the van, so we'll lug it around just in case.

As I said, I would be interested (my "stuff" is also in the car) only if the weather looks more promising. As for dinner, I can't make it unfortunately. If you still plan to go, let me know and I will be at Chapters between 7:30 and 8:00.
Richard

Well, in the same mall as Chapters is a Denny's, Kelseys and
Alice Fazooli's

Juding by the poll for dinner on saturday, we might be going
to Kelsey's friday. So maybe we should pick something else for
tonight.

Alice Fazooli's is quite expensive. For that
price I'd much rather go to Issac's (474 Hazeldean Rd 836-8335, about
10 minutes away) which has etreemly good food. If you feel like
a cheap and possibly greasy meal, then Denny's is a good choice.

What do people feel like: good or cheap?

Anything other than Denny's will probably require a reservation,
which I'll take care of if people tell me where they want to go.

Oops. I called Issacs. They are quite busy tonight. The only
available reservation times are 17:00 or after 20:00. I guess
were back to chooseing between Kelseys, Dennys and perhaps other
nearby restaurnts like East Side Mario's.

Any Kanata dwellers out there who can help pick an eatery?

Or shall we just meet at Denny's (At Kanata Centrum, same mall-zone
as Chapters) at 18:30?

According to Douglas Adams, the four stages of civilization are
typified by the questions:
- what can we eat ?
- how do we eat ?
- why do we eat ?
- where can we do lunch?

One should not forget Jack Astor's right next to Alice Fazooli's. The food is quite good for this type of food.
