I am worried for the world's worst traffic jam ever in the Montreal Sherbrook corridor (as well as 50 to 100 km buffer). Is it really worth it to go there?? Perhaos we need traffic prediction based on current airport congestion..
Cornwall border crossing into and back from US might be sweetspot for low crowds. Drive Eastward to Burlington Monpelier if needed.

I'm bringing cash.
If all goes well, I'll need none of that stuff, and will be home Monday night.

Hey Marco, Funny you mentioned Malone as my original plan was to go there and fly fish hoping I catch a monster trout when it goes dark fooling them to come out from hiding. Looks like a thin layer of clouds there and Cornwall.?

Avoid huge crowds descending from Montreal and N America. And in particular the return home towards Montreal area.

You are right. My mistake. Peterborough will see only a partial
eclipse. Ignore my comment about a sucker hole opening north of
Peterborough.
