The moon is a spectacular red color. Well it would be spectacular if we didn't know that it was caused by enough forest fire smoke to cause some people respiratory problems. Still, worth a look

I had an excellent view of Jupiter last night. At least 7 bands. And that was when Jupiter was only 16 degrees up and seen through tree branches.. Saturn was good too. Good views start around

I took lots of photos through the scope when there were no clouds, but there were no sunspots visible on the disk so those images were boring.? That, and the seeing here was so-so, so the images
