What ho one and all,
Was downloading some images from my memory card via a card reader in the computer, and decided to have a look at the card? with File Explorer.
Surprised to find that along with the images that I had shot, there where around 200 , old xmp files of various dates over the past six months, the RAW files of which, have been deleted long algo.??? I formatted the card in the camera and checked again, but the XMP files where still there.? I have now deleted them with Fie Explorer but don't understand why they have not been removed when I deleted images from the card.
Grateful of some insight.
