Nikon D850 Battery Grip

Zigmonde All Messages By This Member #152983 Hello All I have the battery grip for my D850 and it has a power port at the end, the manual calls this a Holder power connector, the manual I have does not go into what this is used for or how it is plugged in if thats what it does, does anyone have this battery grip and do they use this power connector? -- Kind Regards Roy

Zigmonde All Messages By This Member #152987 Hello Kelly If you look at the D850 battery grip from the rear of the camera you will see a small square piece of rubber, if you peel this back it reveals a port access, Below explains it better. The EP-5B Power Connector When using the EP-5B power connector, insert it into the MS-D12EN holder with the arrow (E) on the connector toward the battery holder power terminals (). Press the connector lightly downward and slide it in the direction of the arrow until the power terminals click into place (). Open the holder power connector cover and pass the EP-5B power cable through the opening (). -- Kind Regards Roy
