I Have been using the D 1 for 7 months . I purchase the first one in Nov
2000 and the second one in Feb
2001. In that 7 months period, I have shot just over 100,000 ! exposure
with both camera combine. Quaility
 of the photos are awesome. When you shoot at tiff format,image is good
enough to blow up toat least
20"x24". I've also blown photos up to 30"x 40"! . I shoot a lot of
sports . I set the Iso setting to 1600 80%
of the time and you barely sea any pixels at 11X14. Quality of photo is
excellent when you calibrate your view
screan to your printer.  I will be purchasing another camera in
Sept.2001 (D 1 H) because I need the rapid 
fire .

Hi. Yamil ,I am from Canada,. The D1 Xis  selling for $7900 Canadian. The D1
H is abou t a $1000 less.I thought about buying the D1 X ,but I find 90% of
the image I sell are 8X10s . The D1X is worth buying only if you are
shooting a lot of portrait  and selling images that are bigger than 24X30
and up .

I heard that about the D1X in Canada!! WOW!! $7900 Canadian!!

Hey, if the D1X has features that you don't need for your daily work,
it's a good reason not to buy it! I like your point of view, you only
get what you need!! Unlike me:-)
