OK, guys I got my empty box from Nikon!! I might return my
D1X next monday, depending on turnarround time!! I'll call
Nikon NY & ask them to see if they comit to a certain
turnarround time!! If they do, I'll post it here.

Hasa anybody else received theirs??

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case. I spoke to someone
at Nikon Technical Support today, and they told me the average turnaround
time would be about 5 days. I'm assuming this means working days. So if
you send it off on Monday, it could come back Friday, or the following Monday
if you're not so lucky. They said the 5 day estimate is not guaranteed.
