Ideally the doula would have the following skills: - Speaks Hebrew as well as one of the following languages: French, English or Japanese - At ease in dealing with hospital staff -- my friend plans to give birth at Hadassa Ein Kerem - Experience with Water Birth - Experience with perineal massage - Other certifications or training is a plus -? Culturally sensitive -- my friend?is a gera from Japan so culturally she is quite different than the Israeli climate -- she is very reserved, shy, sensitive? - She wants a natural birth, but at the hospital.??
