Shalom and Shavua Tov,
The
man in Jerusalem we have been trying to help is going in very soon,
maybe tomorrow, for another surgery. He has already had 8 other
surgeries, including for Cancer. This will be the fourth time in the
past few months he will have an extended stay in the hospital.
Many people and rabbis, including Rabbis Berel Wein, Zvi Schwartz, Amram Rister and others can verify this very sad situation.
Aside from the carcinoma (the cancer), he
has many other problems and can barely walk, and cannot leave the house
alone. He cannot function at this point and he has no family to help him
aside from his young son, who he has raised alone.
He
needs to focus now on his upcoming surgery and his other health issues.
He cannot work anymore and gets disability money from the government
that does even cover his full rent, not to mention all his bills, food,
medications, etc.
He is a good man that has
helped others all his life and now he needs urgent help so he can go
into his newest surgery in peace and quiet. He needs to pay rent, the
bills, the grocery and arnona (apartment) taxes.
Please kindly help this sweet, kind man. He is suffering terribly.
There are American and Israeli charities accepting donations online
for them. It is also possible to help through their local grocery store
or by bank transfer to friends helping the family. Please contact me for
