The Lizensker's Prayer

The Lizensker offered the following prayer:
"O Lord! Guard us from selfish motives and from pride when we do Your will. Guard us from anger and chagrin, from sadness and from talebearing and from evil traits. May no jealousy of our comrades enter our heart, and may no jealousy of us enter the heart of our fellow-men. Grant us the ability within our own heart to behold no defects but only virtues within our comrades."
