Undesirable Traits
The Maggid of Koznitz said: "There is an eternal lesson to be found in every tale of the Torah. For example: the story of Cain and Abel teaches us the consequences of jealousy; the story of the Flood: the result of lust; and the story of the Tower of Babel: the outcome of lacking a knowledge of our limitations. In every one of us can be found some of these undesirable traits, and the fate of thos who allowed themselves to be overpowered by them, should be a warning to us."
