GLP-1 drugs and NAION

Life is the school, love is the lesson.
 

And to be fair, the studies state they aren¡¯t clear whether it¡¯s the GLP1s or the diabetes that is the issue.?
 

I took Ozempic from Aug 5, 2024 to January 31, 2025, never more than 1 mg. On latter date, I was diagnosed with NAION. Almost totally blind in that eye.
 

That is what my PCP and neuro ophthalmologist keeps telling me. Compounded by apnea and low blood pressure.?

My anatomy of inner eye contributes factors as well.?

My A1C, apnea and blood pressure are controlled now as well as other bloodwork.?

NAION has stabilized with 20/60 in one eye and 20/50 in the other. I got a double wammy - lucky me.?
