A CHALLENGE


 

Hi all!? I'd like to propose a challenge to every one who signed up for this group.? Putting your major and incremental goals aside, I am issuing a challenge.? Pick an exercise that you can do in your office a few times a day - maybe in between appointments, or every hour, or whatever works - but schedule it in and make it a routine.? It might be having small weights near your desk and every hour you do 10 arm exercises, or maybe you will do 10 squats, or whatever.? There is no excuse not to fit in a few arm exercises or squats.? These small steps will add up over time, and it is healthy to get up and move periodically. Think about it - other ideas for quick and easy stretching or strength exercises that can be done throughout the day?

Yup, I bought standing desks for everyone in my office. ?Just remember that to much standing can be equally as bad if your posture is not good so.. rule of thumb - 30 minutes standing then 15-30 min siting and keep alternating.?

I definitely use a standing desk and I love it!


 

Okay folks, drop what you are doing and give me as many squats as you can.? Does not matter if it is 5 or 50 - do what you can.

Great job, Wendy!? My challenge to you is to do the same tomorrow and add 5 to whatever you did last time!
For all, my challenge is to do a one-minute plank when you get out of bed in the morning (or as long as you can hold it), AND pick one time during the day to do as many squats as you can.
