I logged some contacts tonight during the early 40 m net. How do I upload the new contacts only to eQSL using an adif file?

if I receive eqsl cards from logged contacts, is there a way to update cclogger with the sent and receive to both be "Y"? do I need to import that adif file from eqsl? I tried the get eqsl images and nothing "synced"...

I was monitoring the early 40m net tonight in both cclogger and net logger and noticed that on many of them, in cclogger it only said "direct", but in netlogger it gave more options, including eQSL. is there a way to get them to match? sending an eqsl is a lovely thing. KR5HRP\John

Where can I find this software? It's referenced in the documentation guide for cclogger...would like to import my adif files into it from netlogger.

Hi, My logger won't run after the latest upgrade to 6.00.04. When I start it I get the window that asks me to register (I registered a long time ago but forgot to save my key). I hit proceed and it starts to load. I get to the main window, then a few small windows flash, too fast to read, and the program closes. The only way I can get it to run is to repeat the system upgrade. The logger will run ONCE. After I end the logger, it won't run again. HELP! Thanks, Steve N6RSH

I had a need to print labels for my Direct contacts on the nets. First I designed a label design in the Report Explorer, that will produce 8160 labels at 30 per sheet. The page setup for this is .5" top and bottom margins and 0.19" for the left and right margin. The Layout is 3 columns at 2.63" column width. Column positions are .21, 3.25 and 5.9 for columns 1,2 and 3. Column transversal is left to right with 0 Row Spacing. Then I created my data by using the Contacts group, and used the fields Callsign, Date, Qsl Sent, Address and QSLinfo. I then used the criteria of Qsl Sent = N and QSLinfo = Direct. I sorted the output by Date. This created the report that I wanted, all of my Direct contacts that I have not yet sent a QSL card to. The label simply has Address and Callsign as the output. The problem comes in when I have already used that sheet of labels to print a previous run of labels and lets say that the top 4 labels are used and gone from the sheet. I want to start printing the needed address labels on position 5, counting from the top, moving left to right. I solved this by entering a dummy contact into the log using my callsign, and I made sure to date it well before any other entry in the log. I made sure that this dummy contact showed Not sent and Direct in the QSL data. Then I cloned that dummy contact 3 times so that 4 identical contacts to my callsign are created, all not sent and Direct. Since the output data is sorted by date, those dummy contacts print first, to the blank spots where there are no longer labels, and then in position 5, my first actual label is printed, continuing down the page until I have printed all the pending Direct/Not sent cards. After the print job, all I have to do is hit update, and all those dummy contacts change to Sent and will not affect future printing. (Be sure to print your QSL cards first!) If I need to do another print job, I can edit however many of my dummy contacts I need for that run, or clone in some more. Also remember that you can reverse top and bottom as you insert the label sheet into the printer, and start with no blank spots a second time for each sheet of labels. Now I don't waste labels, and it is a lot of fun to make the program do this for me. I hope this helps someone else! I simply got tired of hand writing out 5-10 direct envelopes every time I managed my qsl cards and figured out a way to make it work using the computer instead. 73 Cary, KB?HV

Last night I logged into the 75m early net to find Linda, KO4SOW/p MO checked into the list. I have never worked Linda on 75m, and I have not worked her after she moved to Missouri and became a /p MO, yet she showed up as already worked (red) on the logger. I worked her, and then confirmed that the new log entry did indeed say it was on the 75m Early net. 73 Cary, KB0HV

This is more of an advice question than a support question, so if it needs to be posted somewhere else just let me know. When first starting my contacts were save in many different locations. At first QRZ logbook was used then I found Log4OM and moved everything to that. Next I found the OMISS Net and logged only a few contacts there. Some of the OMISS contacts were logged in QRZ, then moved to Log4OM, and some were logged on NetLogger and moved to Log4OM. Then I found the 3905; at first I was logging on paper and inputting into Log4OM, then figured out how to use NetLogger, and once I figured that out it has been my go to logger for 3905. After each net I export from Netlogger and then input into Log4OM. Ten I talked to Dean and heard about the CC Logger program. At this point in time, I have 149 contacts logged in NetLogger, of which 6 are OMISS and 143 are 33905. My Log4OM logger has 214 total contacts entered. I only have 14 contacts logged into CC Logger, all from the same net. Now for the questions 1. I am assuming that the CC Logger is only for 3905 contacts and that anything else, whether another net or general HF contacts should be logged elsewhere; Is that correct? 2. If the answer to Q 1 is yes then I would need to log other nets into NetLogger (no real plans to do that but that may change at some point). Is this correct? 3. Should I maintain a master log where all my casual contacts, 3905 contacts and other net contacts are logged? 4. I am assuming I could bring the CC Logger up to date by exporting 3905 contacts from NetLogger and importing into CC Logger, then using cc Logger after that for all 3905 nets. Is this correct? 5. If the answer to Q 3 is yes, I am assuming I could export contacts out of cc logger and import them to my master log, Log4OM, is that correct?

I went to do my qsl cards today and got the notice that there is a new version. I downloaded the new version but need to know where and how to install it. I ran the new version update but none of my contacts are there. Any ideas?

i have n7xg logger But after i download fcc updates it does Not load any other dean i sent you a email of what wasgoing on but no answer yet,. since the change of the new sever it n7xg does nothing also when i log someone in n7xglogger it put all of them in organ k5geb

Dean, Now that Rick's site is gone, will the N7XG logger still get GIB updates? Does it need to be changed in the logger? Thanks, Steve N6RSH

Looks like I jumped the gun. Before I got this message I tried to get the program running. First, it ask me to register the program. I have no idea what it wants to get the program registered. So I put my name and my former call sign in the space provided. It came back with the message," wrong register key. I hit proceed and the Starting window came up. It then sent the following error message,"11/20/2008 is not a valid date". Got any ideas on how to fix this? I sent Dean a message about a week ago but have yet to get a response. Dean is a very responsible person, so something is going on to cause his not answering my message. Charlie K4SHA
