Hi Mike,

What program do you use for JT65 and JT9? I tried without success a couple

of times using WSJT-X by K1JT with and without HRI and could not get M710 rig control

to work with it. It looked like it would work but a popup window kept me from trying

out different settings.

Tom,

I recent new feature to Visual Studios version of HRI is where HRI emulates a Kenwood TS2000 radio via a Virtual comport.

So, any software written to control a TS2000 can command HRI - and HRI will then do the equivalent function to the ICOM Marine radio.

You might want to try again using this new feature as I think everyone writing Amateur Radio software supports the TS2000.

Regards,
Howard

I successfully use HRI's TS2000 emulation feature everyday to control my IC M710 with FLDIGI using RigCat settings and VSPE but I think WSJT-X uses Hamlib and like

FLDIGI, WSJT-X's Hamlib TS2000 radio control does not seem to work. Any ideas?

Tom,

I made some additions to Visual Studio HRI in the Kenwood TS2000 radio emulation department.

Let me know if it works for you using WSJT on your Icom Marine Radio.

HRI windows visual studio Version 08 March 2017 v1 gives the IC M710 CAT control

with WSJT-X v1.70 It makes the settings TEST CAT button turn green and reads and sets

M710 frequencies etc.

Thanks Tom

Hi Tom.
?Sorry for the delay :)
I use the free HRD, the Java HRI and BY JT65.
In all cases, the HRI stops after few minutes, I dont know why.

Tom,

If using the Java HRI, do you have installed the latest version of java from? ?? ?

I do not know why HRI is stopping for you - do you get error messages in the DOS-Looking window?

If you are using WIndows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 I suggest using the Visual Studios HRI.? Just make sure you have installed DotNet 4.6.1
