World Map behavior

When the World Map is toggled on, is there a way to get it to appear when entering a new QSO and then disappear when logging the completed Q (similar to the behavior exhibited by the QRZ image being displayed and then cleared)?

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your e-mail.? When you tab from the Call field, the pin appears and is red as in this example:

If you leave the button displaying Show Logged QSO, after you press enter, it will remain and turn blue.? If you click the button so that is says Hide Logged QSO, it will disappear completely.? Lots more details on how our World Map works are here (and it has become a very valuable tool for me on contest weekends):

If by it you are referring to the map itself instead of the associated pin, the use case for most is to display spots / potential stations to work, so I would not want it to disappear.??

Enjoy!
