just began getting this popup. It seems to be when ACLog as received a message that VarAC has logged a QSO.
?
The error window popup's subject is "Error Executing Shell Functi...".
?
And that Title oddity is something I always notice with popup windows generated by ACLog. Might there be a way that one can size those popups to include all the characters in a line?
?

Hi NR4U

Thanks for your e-mail.??The Shell Error is usually associated with your LoTW / TQSL settings in AC Log. It often comes to light when you have LoTW set to upload on entry, or you try an upload from the LoTW form, but you are not properly configured for LoTW.

Please click eLogs > LoTW and complete these step by step instructions here. Pay special attention to Step 4.

Then do a test upload from the LoTW form. Once you can upload from the LoTW form, you can go ahead and reenable the upload on entry option if you wish.

Enjoy!

Thanks Scott. Was there any way to widen error-popups generated by your program? As for the suggestion from you, I am turning to that right now. Will advise

Hi NR4U,

Thanks for your follow up.? The error message boxes are generated by your Windows OS.? The dimensions for the default boxes aren't assigned by our software.? We only provide the text to the OS, which does the rest.

I'm sorry that I didn't have the answer that you were hoping for.

Enjoy!

See attachment .... appears after i selected two new qso's then got to the LoTW on eLogs ....selected to use the highlighted stuff then got the 'usage' nag.
?
what am i missing then?
?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your follow up and sharing the screen shot.? That error message is from ARRL's TQSL software, not AC Log.? I would be happy to help if I could, but I've never seen that before.? The LoTW folks at ARRL will need to help you there.? Be sure to include the screen shot when you contact them.

Enjoy!
