Appearance of entry boxes

The entry boxes (see below) are not uniform in appearance. Is there a way to make each box uniform? There is a gap of various dimensions between the title of the box and the entry part of the box. County and State boxes are the most apparent.
?
It may be something in the programming of ACL.?
?
?
Thanks.?

Hi Randy,

You can change this as you wish:? Settings >> Edit Fields Displayed, Position, and Tab Order >> and then chose your option.

I don't believe that is the solution to this problem. Look at the screen shot and you will see a rather large gap between the green 'County' box and the white dropdown box beneath it, where the county name goes.? Then the 'Grid' box has no space between the green and white box. And a smaller gap between the 'State' box and the white box.?
?
Tab order makes no difference in what I am describing.?

Hi Randy,

Thanks for your e-mail.? To minimize position rounding error on control movement, it is best to use a 1920 X 1080 resolution and make sure you continue to keep AC Log full screen while you customize.? You may have to reset to default and begin again to minimize the already introduced disparity.

Enjoy!

I once had an issue like you are seeing, a separation or “gap” between the entry field LABEL and the entry field TEXT-BOX.? Scott replied and told me to go into one of the SETTINGS.ELF files and edit a number that set the screen component location.

It was easy to do.? Unfortunately, I do not remember it in my head….. and I can’t find that message with how to do it.? But it can be done.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for chiming in and the reminder.? Yes, that is another option.? With AC Log closed, open the efl file with a text editor and edit the locations to your preference.

Enjoy!
