Multiple Operator Instances Within ACLog

Hi - been using ACLog for a year and love it. Full rig interface - works great. My wife recently passed her Technician, and has a separate TQSL Station Location? - see pic. We use the same Shack, but would like to maintain separate instances of ACLog. Is this possible? Couldn't easily determine a solution. Thanks!

In the online Help system:

Thanks Jim. That answers most of the question, but what about TQSL? Do we need a 2nd instance of TQSL, perhaps in a separate directory, that can be used with a new Windows login and ACLog to upload logs to LoTW? I noticed that ACLog can't seem to distinguish between two Station Location entries in TQSL, like in the OP attachment.? Short of that, ADIF files could be exported and then uploaded via TQSL. Just thought it would be nice to use ACLog do the LoTW uploading with a second log file like the original log file.
?
Thanks again!

I can't say as I have never needed that functionality but the answer should be somewhere in either the ACLog Help system or the Help system on the LoTW web site.

If you set up ACLog with two separate users on one Windows computer, you will two distinct? environments? that don't overlap. In that case, you will need to install both ACLog and TQSL in both. You can have both running at the same time and switch between them doing a Switch User. That works well for my wife (N5WQ) and I. The only downside is during contests that both of you are participating in as the switch process takes a little time.

Thanks Bob, sound like that's the answer - I'll give it a try!

One thing I forgot if you are using rig control. When you switch between users, you will need to shut down ACLog before going to the other user because if you don't, the dormant environment will still have a connection to the rig.

I wonder if the API Interface in ACLog would also run between users like it does for controlling other N3FJP software does in a single user.? Probably not.? Also probably not worth a feature request as it's a very niche area.
