[N3FJPSoftwareUsers setup problem

I am a relatively new ham trying to setup my ACL? software.

My rig control interface indicates that my polling works so I know ACL is communicating with my Icom 7300. However when I go to WSJT-X I have a problem.??

When I go to WSJT settings the test cat button does not work and I get an error message that says my hamlib timed out.
This is the message.


I'm concerned I may have inadvertently deleted hamlib so I found a folder that looks like this.

I apologize if I am asking this question in the wrong forum.? I have been using ACL and like it even thought I know I have only scratched the surface of what it can do.? Being 80 years old, it takes me a bit longer to learn things ? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I set up my ft8 first then turn on ACL.

most ports can not be shared ( easily) so the best way to have cat on wsjtx, is to start it first, because anything logged to n3fjp will have frequency and band.? ?if you work any ssb or cw, the start n3fjp first


or use a bridge, like lpb-2 for virtual comports
