Hi All,
Hiram Percy Maxim Contest Log 1.0 is Now Available!
With short notice and a very full plate, I didn't think that I was going to be be able to create a program for ARRL's Hiram Percy Maxim celebration next month, but given the excellent rule set, large number of enthusiastic user requests and a bit of schedule rework, I was able to find a way!
If you aren't familiar with ARRL's Hiram Percy Maxim celebration, all the rules and details are here:
As most of you know, I've never created a program for a non recurring event before because the coding time required is too large.? I've made this exception because this is a really nice, simple rule set with the very popular Field Day style exchange (just replace class with RST), that has the added bonus in schedule flexibility of running for 9 days!? Hiram Percy Maxim celebration sure looks like a well designed event that will be a lot of fun for us all!??
Given all the e-mail I've been receiving, many of you are really excited too!? In fact, if Hiram Percy Maxim celebration is received as strongly as it appears, my hope is that ARRL will decide to make this an annual event.? After all, birthdays come once a year and we now have the infrastructure to continue in place!
You will find Hiram Percy Maxim Contest Log 1.0 here:
Hiram Percy Maxim Contest Log 1.0 is very easy and intuitive to use.? It has all the features that you have come to expect and enjoy in my software including rig interface, current score statistics, sections changing color when worked (and spotted), DX spotting, super check partial, sending CW, a map which colors in worked sections, interface with many digital programs, creation of your Cabrillo file for log submission and much more!?
Hiram Percy Maxim Contest Log is?free for everyone!? No password or registration is required.? This is a great opportunity to introduce your buddies to my software and have them join us in the celebration, so please tell a friend to download the software and give it a try!?
Enjoy Hiram Percy Maxim Contest Log and welcome to the birthday party!
