N3FJP Software Announcements
开云体育?
Hi All,
?
Kimberly and I have three quick announcements:
?
New Country List Available
?
We have uploaded an updated country list to for the recent country changes.
You'll find the link to the list under the Country Files heading below the links
to each contest. Complete details for the update and download instructions are
included on the web page.
?
CQ WW Offset Reminder
?
Daylight savings time concludes this weekend. Our software checks your UTC
offset on startup and recommends a change if needed. Since it only checks on
startup, if you operate (or leave the program running) through the time change,
you will have to remember to change the offset manually when standard time
begins.
?
I haven't tried this myself, but another suggestion that came from the
users group is to set your UTC offset to zero and use the Casablanca time zone
setting in Windows (which is always UTC). To change your time zone
setting:
?
- Double click the clock on your task bar
- Click the Time Zone tab on the form that appears
- Scroll down until you find Casablanca and select it

RAC Call Data Format Change
?
If you have attempted to download and convert the Canadian call data
directly recently, you know that AC Log would hang. This occurred because the
file format for the RAC data has been modified. I have updated the .exe file to
accommodate the new?RAC data?format. To download the patch:
?
- Close AC Log 3.0
?
- Click this link to download the new .exe file:
?
?
- Save the file in the working directory of the program (default is
c:\program files\aclog 3.0.)
?
?
The fall contesting season is always an exciting time and lots of
fun!? As always, thanks for your kind thoughts and spreading the word about
our software.? We really appreciate it!
?
Please let us know if you have any questions.
