N1MM Spectrum Display for Icom IC-7850 and 7851
Hello,
?
I hope everyone is enjoying the CQ WPX SSB contest.
?
I currently have N1MM Spectrum Display running for the IC-7610 with the FTDI method. We have just acquired an IC-7850 and 7851. I have Win4IcomSuite connected to share the serial port CAT control and to able to remotely test the radios.
?
What is the current best method to display N1MM Spectrum Display for the 7850/51? I see they don't have the second dedicate USB 3.0 connector like the 7610
?
Thanks!

Thanks, John. I had read that.?
?
My Icom USB drivers created Com3 and Com4 on my Windows 11 PC.? I did just now connect only to N1MM with Com3 and frequency readings and the Spectrum Display works.?
?
I use Win4IcomSuite with Com0com for remote testing and sharing CAT ports with accessory programs. I'll need to figure out if I can share Com4 with Win4IcomSuite instead. It doesn't give me a 115200 baud rate option when N1MM is one of the CAT shared programs.

Hi John, Both N1MM and Win4Icom need the 115200 baud rate comm port but apparently it can't be shared. Can N1MM accept the Spectrum Data as a UDP broadcast from Win4Icom? I don't see UDP discussed in the documentation. Thank you! David Needham, AA4VT On Sun, Mar 30, 2025, 11:21 AM John Bednar via <k3ct=[email protected]> wrote:
