anytone 878uv problen

? ?I am having issues with contact manager and CPS 1.24N. I had export my .rdt file to a dcf file. I open up Contact manager with the dcf file. Import world wide contact list. Save the file. I tried to open up the new dcf file sith CPS. I am getting an error. I do not see any logfiles to open up what the problem is? Anyone else seeing this??

Let's see if their 1.25 release fixes this. If not I will reach out to them. (It seems that they screw this up for all models - they probably don't test that it works.) Anytone needs to get its act together. My family owns 8 Anytones, and I cannot recommend an Anytone to anyone, nor will I buy another one until this is corrected.? The length of time that they are taking to fix this makes me consider that I may never recommend one in the future.
I'm probably not alone on this. |
FYI I have sent a message to AnyTone on this. Hope it helps - - I don't know how their software development team works, but only know that this problem appears over and over in new CPS releases just after they "fix" something.
All software has bugs. Let's hope that AnyTone figures out how to stop repeating this mistake. Tom |
These were the results someone reported on one of the Anytone forums on FB. Version 2.70c of CM can open DCF from CPS 2.02n (for Anytone D878UV2), but that CPS can not open the RDT-file saved from CM (message: file error). ? The same CM can not open DCF from Anytone CPS 2.03 or from CPS 2.04 ?
