My doughter got sick with a heavy laringitis and I had to remain on watch all night long to monitor the fever. She's on antibiotics now and getting better... but,... It wasn't possible to do the planned baking at 5 am. I made a few multigrain loafs yesterday night, which I will deliver to Pachamá at around 10 am today.

I hope to be able to deliver bread down to Estación tomorrow. Since I already overdid the allowed advertisement it might be easiest if you call or whatsapp the shops for availability and or reservations at the following numbers:

Greetings Everyone,

I am still feeling pretty paralyzed for words after the last 7 weeks, but what an amazing time it has been. Jaime of Animecha Tours and I led an adventurous tour through Chiapas in March, before traversing the highlands of Guatemala on a research / scouting trip. From there, we flew to Los Mochis to pet a wild dolphin in Topolobampo Bay before boarding the Chepe Express for a formidable undertaking to visit the Raramuri during their Semana Santa celebrations. We have some exceptional stories about our trip, including bartering for permission to observe their rituals in one particularly remote place. In time, I will express our travels in better form with some rare pictures for bragging rights!

I am happily resting in Zihuatanejo for a few weeks and am pleased to drop our informational for a tour Jaime and I have been talking about for a couple of years.

Hola David! My husband was a born and bred Uki (Ukrainian) and when I lived in Rochester, NY we participated actively in the activities and celebrations of the Ukrainian community. For several years now I have taught the art of Pysanka in Morelia, mostly in my own home, but in the past three years at La Columna (one of the oldest churches in town) in the annex. I loved the pysanka you showed recently, a bit different but lovely. Here is the poster for my last set of classes, perhaps someone in the group would be interested. Ulices Molina García with DSC Security has done good work installing electric fencing for us, which I know you're not asking for. But they advertise cameras and alarm systems, although we've not used them for that. 434-100-1333. Spanish only.

For cameras and alarm systems, including centralized 24-hour remote monitoring, we and others have used SAM Security in Morelia, Enrique Reyes Cobo, 443-298-3000. Enrique speaks English well, though his techs may not. They do a lot of commercial monitoring of stores and businesses. Considerably more expensive than DSC.

Hi everybody

After yesterday's failed attempt to return to Patzcuaro (fare cancelled due to lack of passengers), I am now en route and should be back in town by tomorrow.

If my sourdough chef is still alive and breathing, there is a fair possibility to find some of my breads on the shelf again at both Pachamá and Don Chucho's by Friday...

I will send out a short notice with my first deliveries.
