Manual for HP 3336B series 2902

 

Hello to all members.
I'm trying to find the manual for my 3336B series 2902 generator. The printed manual that was included with the instrument is for series 1930. ?The control board (A6) is HP part number 03325-66516 and it is very different from the one described in the manual. ?I'm aware that at first sight this is a board made for the 3325, but it seems to be the original one. There is a dip switch to adapt the board for use on the 3325 or the 3336, see attached picture. I searched for the schematic of this board and I had absolutely no luck, I event tried to contact Keysight but had no results there either. From the date codes on the chips the production date would be mid or late 1991.

Hi Claude
From what I see on the 3325 board doc/diagram is that the dip-switch is
considered for HPIB-address and/or signature testing. No indication for
double use in a 3336. The ROM content will be different though(1) and
that's probably "the switch".

You are looking at an older version of the PCB.? My version has two dip switches, one for HP-IP address when used in a 3325 and a second one close to the front.? See attached picture.? Also my board has only one ROM, older versions have four.

Yes I did, just to be sure I checked again.? Only one of their three links is for the 3336.? And it is for the 1930 series version with older version A6 CPU board.

Sorry Claude I do not own a 3336 manual. I looked at Artekmanuals but
it does not show there too. My 3325 papermanual (dated 1978) has no
serviceupdates either so that's the information I had. Did you have a
look at KO4BB's website often has also a load of hard to find data.

Sorry Claude I do not own a 3336 manual. I looked at Artekmanuals but it
does not show there too. My 3325 papermanual (dated 1978) has no
serviceupdates either so that's the information I had. Did you have a
look at KO4BB's website often has also a load of hard to find data.
