CraftCNC uses a Dremel 3000
I'm almost finished 3d Printing the parts for this free project that I found on Design and Make's website.? I started printing 10 days ago, and should be
finished by next Sunday or sooner, so the next fun part is assembly... Here is a link for the free project.?? It uses grbl for its simple controller, but since I'm buying stepper motors, why can't I create a Mach 3 profile for Vectric sotfware to use for modeling? There has to be some kind of You Tube video for programming? Mach 3 for KISS level projects for beginners? Thanks, Tamra |
开云体育Tamara, Vectric has drivers available that will put out Mach-3 compatible G-code. Bertho ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Tamra

There is nothing controlling the Dremmel ON/OFF or spindle speed.
Your steps motors are driven with a controller which reads if not standard G-Code a similar language to move the XYZ axis by increment in inches or millimeters. You may have to remove the header and footer information of the generated G-Code program from Aspire to make it compatible for the controller. Usually CAD/CAM Software comes with a perfect tuned up postprocessors fully compatible with the CNC. This is what I got from Gravotech and their 3D Artistic software, TYPE EDIT: ? |
