I edited a screen to make it higher contrast. i do not remember if i tested everything after the mods. i also copied the xbox plugins to the plugin folder.

now i can not configure anything, the whole configure drop down is grayed out. i know that the machine needs to be disabled to be able to config so that is not the problem. also even though other plugins show but are greyed out the xbox plugin does not show up in the list.

also the gcode window shows but i can not get the mdi to show.

i tried loading a screen that i had not edited and this has exactly the same problem.

what could i have fucked up?

The plugin should have been in the package that you downloaded. You need to enable the plugin under config control and you will see a plugins tab. In that tab you need to enable to XBox plugin. Restart and you will be able to get it setup.

I got the plugin to work on the house computer but it was something i downloaded . Will look for plugin in packagr. What disturbs me is that mdi no longer works and sll config is greyrd out. I tried uding screrns i had not messed eith snd still he problem . Do eben if i get the right plugin i can't configure it

i fixed the no config problem. someone (not me) locked mach4. i just needed to unlock it with the password of ""

no all that remains is finding a working xbox plugin. i got the latest from the ftp site so hopefully that is all i need.

As long as the machine is in the disabled and in in the idle state you can configure. Check to see if you can get into config as soon as you start the software. You will not have any commands run it so you should be set.

it turns out that the machine was "locked" i just unlocked it with the password of nothing.

i got the latest xbox plugin and hope that works on the real machine. it does on the home computer that is not connected to a machine.

might as well get it from you i seems to have different plugins mcx360 and mcxbox? i am sure the mcxbox is working on the home computer and do not remember which i tried on the router computer.
