Still confused on upgrade and keeping changes

cncgramps

Hi,

I still have not figured out how to upgrade to another version and
keep the buttons I create and also get the new features added to
Mach2.
I have tried using my old set file and also have tried using my old
xml file. Also have tried using both.
I can keep the buttons I create but I do not get the added features
that have been added to Mach2.

Is it possible move to version 4 lets say and import just the
buttons that I have made? Or is it easier to just remake those
buttons in the new version.

Thanks

Gary

Gary:

Youd either have top copy your buttons to the new screens or copy new
features to your buttons. At the momewnt there is no other way..

When you say copy the buttons over do you mean just create a new button and add the text that I used?
I see that as the only way to do it.

Thanks

Gary

No, you can open your screen, select your buttons and select Copy in the
edit menu, then open the real screens and select paste. (Or visa versa..)
