As long as the joystick connects to the Sound card 15 pin connector at the rear of the computer, it should work. Go to Windows Game Port set up in the Control Panel and follow the instructions. It lets you set up a joystick and up to 3 switches. It also has an area to test the joystick and lets Windows know what the Max and Min values are. Then Go to Mach2 and enable the Joystick function, remember that the joystick must be centered to Enable the function, it will tell you at the bottom of the screen and the function will not enable (LED stays Red), unless it is centered.
Tried and true. Mine is not spring return, asked ART of Mach2 to protect the system due to the fact that the function can be disabled even if the joystick is not centered, motors moving cannot be stopped unless E-Stop or center joystick to re-enable and stop motors. Careful.
